Our services are designed to provide support and guidance at every step of the process, from assessment and referral to ongoing follow-up and monitoring.

OUR SCHOOL SAFETY TEAM
Our School Safety Services are designed to provide a safe and secure environment for all students, staff, and visitors to the school.
In addition to searching and screening, our team is also available for After School Patrols, Parents Evenings, Sports Days, School Proms, Events, and Open Days (Plain Clothes Option).
All of our School Safety Specialists are certified by the Security Industry Authority (SIA), properly inducted, and trained in safeguarding, de-escalation, and conflict management strategies.
They are also checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service, as well as professional and personal references and qualifications.
With the safety and security of everyone at the forefront, we aim to provide a secure and safe environment for all.
OUR STRATEGY
The three-tiered strategy of prevention and early intervention is comprised of the following:

Universal Support: This tier provides support for all students and is focused on promoting positive behaviour and well-being. This may include providing a safe and secure environment, classroom management strategies and educational programs.

Targeted Support: This tier provides targeted support for students who are experiencing difficulties but do not require intensive interventions. This may include individual support, small group work, mentoring and/or coaching.

Intensive Support: This tier provides intensive support for students who require a high level of support to succeed. This may include individual or small group interventions, specialist support and educational programs.

OUR SEARCH AND SCREEN APPROACH
Snapcheck Search and Screen is a discreet and professional service aimed at promoting a safe and secure learning environment for students.
The search and screen process involves searching for and screening prohibited items such as knives or weapons, alcohol, illegal drugs, stolen items, nitrous oxide canisters, tobacco and e-cigarette/vapes, fireworks, and pornographic images.
The service also includes an optional but recommended social education presentation.
OUR SOCIAL ACADEMIC APPROACH
Snapcheck works directly with schools (primary, secondary, and specialist), parents and local authorities, and children and young people who are in or out of education, including those at risk of exclusion, those who have been temporarily or permanently excluded, students with emotional or behavioural challenges, students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges (SEMH), school refusers, and young offenders.

Snapcheck's education team consists of experienced professionals who have worked with children and young people in a variety of situations. They strive to empower learners and bring lasting benefits to their peers, schools, and the community. All specialists at Snapcheck have undergone Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks and are professionally referenced and qualification-checked to ensure the highest level of expertise and professionalism.

OUR SAFEGUARDING
At Snapcheck, the safety of both staff and students is a top priority.
The company consults and conducts initial assessments to identify and consider risks, which are then incorporated into the planning of their SMART search and screen service and/or the matching of personnel to students.
The Snapcheck induction process includes training on risk assessment, de-escalation and conflict, safeguarding, and report writing, to ensure that all personnel are equipped to provide a safe and secure environment for the children and young people they support.
